Bug Description

Only ~/snap/<name>/build exists for my installed snaps. /snap/bin/<name> still shows current.

You don't mean "build", but the revision number? ~/snap/${SNAP_NAME}/${SNAP_REVISION}, like ~/snap/hello-world/42 ?

Is it your intention to reach into the snap data from outside a snap?

@Chad, yes indeed I mean aking to ~/snap/hello-world/42. It's not my intention to play in the folder via another snap, I just was browsing and noticed the change.

It's important because I can't know exactly where the snaps files are without a current symlink; If I wanted or needed to edit a config for an application for instance.
