Trying to resolve 'login' not working and figure out how to refresh the credential (as reported on bug #1980533)
$ snapcraft login
Cannot login with 'SNAPCRAFT_
Recommended resolution: Unset 'SNAPCRAFT_
but
$ echo $SNAPCRAFT_

I got the same issue and I think this deserves more attention as it breaks uploads of new snaps (for me and seb at least but I doubt we are alone).
