Unable to change dotnet-runtime-version to 2.2.3

I can't build my snap when changing dotnet-runtime-version above 2.1.4. Looking at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dotnet/core/master/release-notes/releases.json which seems to be what snapcraft is using the release exists but the format in the package.json changed on versions above 2.1.4.

When running above 2.1.4 I get the following error:

Failed to prepare the .NET SDK: An error occurred while fetching the version details for '2.2.3'. Check that the version is correct.

I am building on Ubuntu core 16.04, snapcraft, version 2.43.1
