Bug Description
Snapcraft gets stuck if the multipass instance has been deleted outside of snapcraft, but not purged:

Use 'recover' to recover the deleted instance or 'purge' to permanently delete the instance.

An error occurred when trying to stop the instance with 'multipass': returned exit code 2.
Ensure that 'multipass' is setup correctly and try again.
