2018-10-11 13:05:45 Anthony Fok description According to https://nodejs.org/en/download/ , the latest LTS "Carbon" version of Node.js is now 8.12.0 (since 2018-09-10), and I think the nodejs plugin should use that as the default. If there is any major reason for staying with the 6.x LTS "Boron" series, the 6.14.2 version listed in nodejs.py is outdated even though it was updated only four months ago (circa June 2018). The latest security update is "6.14.4". According to https://nodejs.org/en/download/ , the latest LTS version of Node.js is now 8.12.0 (since 2018-09-10) (LTS codename "Carbon"), and I think the nodejs plugin should use that as the default.
