Bug Description
When building snaps from git or other cvs, it might be annoying to update the human-readable version all the times, especially when you use launchpad or other services to do automatic builds.
So, version parameter should support some way to get a dynamic part to append to the base version, so that there's some better meaning than store revisions.

Hey Treviño, I'm marking this as a duplicate of a separate bug that started this discussion.
Feel free to add your comments there. During the sprint in The Hague we discussed about it too, but I don't see it in our short term backlog.
