Bug Description
The mosquitto example was modified to exit after receiving a single message in order to work around a difficulty in killing the service in tests. This fixes the tests but makes for an example that is not very useful as such-- services aren't typically written that exit after a single message is received. We should be careful about our examples being more focused on being a test infrastructure than they are on being actual examples.
Perhaps the example could be updated to quit upon a given message and otherwise continue running so people can play with it without it quitting immediately?
