What uses libssl-dev in the base kernel?

I needed to install it because the kernel build wanted to sign itself.

Please ignore libssl-dev. I did a kernel build on a clean system (docker) and no installed libssl.dev was needed.

Still missing build-packages:
- cpio

bc and cpio were added in 2.8.1 (https://github.com/ubuntu-core/snapcraft/commit/ac25418f56d06540199f5d9aa56d77189e2bc2d2#diff-55bf16c57bc979755b50ea978c45fd2dR27). Sergio, is there a reason gcc isn't added by the kbuild or kernel plugin?

You are probably right and it should be added to the kernel plugin. Not
kbuild as this is specific to the kernel. kbuild project could use clang
for all we know.
