Bug Description

This happens on latest Ubuntu Focal. Snap Store does not seem to uninstall any unused dependencies when uninstalling an application from Ubuntu repository.

Few years ago, this issue was fixed in Ubuntu (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1552792) and gnome-software does now properly uninstall unused dependencies, however this is not the case with Snap Store that leaves all dependencies and uninstalls only the base package.

This should be easy to fix by setting a packagekit_autoremove meson build option to true.
