Snap-store launcher icon missing from Unity dash

Today i updated snap-store to latest/edge channel using snap refresh snap-store --edge and after update completed I noticed these is no icon for desktop launcher in the unity dash when i searched for "snap store", there is an entry to launch store, but it has no icon. This issue is not present in stable branch of snap-store though.
Am attaching a screenshot to show what this issue is please check.

 Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

This is not confined to a unity session, on the new ubuntu beta snap-store isn't on the launcher nor does it show in the "Show Applications" window, browse or search.
Only way to initially run is from cli, then icon can be added to favorites.

Me too, after the Ubuntu Software update, the icon disappeared, also it loads the categories with extreme difficulty.
Programs can be found (slowly) by searching, but cannot be browsed through Games or Productivity.

Launched from terminal:
snap-store
