Bug Description
Performed a fresh install of 2024.1/edge on a 32 core, 256g RAM server. Provided the same defaults as I always use:
sunbeam cluster bootstrap --database single --role control --role compute
sunbeam configure deployment -o ./sunbeam-user.rc
Installation completes and no errors are observed. Next, launched a simple VM using the Horizon dashboard. This instance uses the demo network created by cluster deployment script.
VM does not receive the ssh key that it was provisioned with. The following can be observed in the instance console log:
[ 31.448489] cloud-init[550]: 2024-05-29 16:32:23,773 - url_helper.
[ 31.456138] cloud-init[550]: 2024-05-29 16:32:23,773 - util.py[WARNING]: No active metadata service found
