Bug Description

<a xlink:href="[smil elem]"> does not start the target animation (by the way, I don't understand the expected behavior of test 29. If someone can point me out the spec for this...)

The begin of the animation will be determined by a "beginElement()" method call or a hyperlink targeted to the element.

The animation DOM methods are described in <a href="#DOMInterfaces">DOM interfaces</a>.

the attachment is a test for endElement() in respect of fill="freeze"

open the attachment,
click on the green square
  orange circle moves right
click on the red square
  orange circle stops in opera
  orange circle reverts to start in safari

safari is broken in respect of this issue:
