CLI hangs (In Windows) when closing (as of v1.2.0)

Bug Description
When you close the CLI in Windows it will hang for a few seconds before fully exiting. It seems to be due to the use of the added STDOUT writing that is taking place. It is taking its time to close the application. Not sure how to fix this one just yet, but it's not too much of a bother.
When running under Linux with WinE, the problem doesn't exist.
