Bug Description
Netmask indicated that this issue has been discussed previously. I think it needs to be revisited.
It's just a semantic issue but there were a few requests relating to this in the old bugtracker and it seemed to cause confusion.
--dump gives the impression that this option is used for debugging and is not generally useful to the average user. Outputting to stderr reinforces this impression. As smart already has a --log-level option for debugging and uses --show elsewhere renaming this option to --show indicates more intuitively what the option is for and is more consistent. Doing this should reduce user confusion.
