It would be nice to have a "distro.d" dir where configuration snippets could
just be dropped in instead of having to modify distro.py. While this
functionality can be implemented in distro.py, I think it would be useful as
part of smart proper.
Patch attached, note that I have not actually tested this exact patch but I have
implemented a corresponding thing in my distro.py.
