If I type really fast and press enter, a stale result gets launched

Bug Description
If I type "atom" really fast and press enter right after, I end up with "Archive manager" being launched.
This is happening because at the time enter is pressed, it hasn't updated the result list with the "atom" query, so it still has the results of query for "a".
When pressing enter, it should wait for the update to happen.
