Bug Description

I noticed if I use my laptop touchpad with two finger scrolling to navigate through the menu, sometimes Slingshot gets confused over where the applications are truly listed.

For example, Archive Manager and Audacity are the first two items on page 1. Files and Firefox are the first two items on page 2. Keeping this in mind, you can see in the video below how it gets tripped up. It happens when I scroll as if I'm trying to go beyond the page. So let's say I'm scrolling to go from page 3 to page 4, but I pause for a second, then continue scrolling as if I were meaning to go to page 5 (which in this case does not exist). Then it acts strangely. Sometimes it's difficult to reproduce intentionally, but accidentally I am running into it a lot. Easiest way to reproduce is to scroll up and down on the touchpad and take notice that eventually (instantly or within a few seconds) Slingshot will get messed up with what applications are where.

During this time I can still search for the missing applications, but whenever the pages get mixed up, there's always a page that comes up blank and another that is missing in its place, so navigating visually via mouse to the application is impossible.

The only way I can bounce it back to normal is sometimes if I physically click on the page buttons at the bottom (1, 2, 3, 4 in my case) it will revert everything back. Sometimes I have to log out and back in, etc.

Meanwhile, using a USB mouse with my laptop, everything is perfect. I can ONLY duplicate this bug using my laptop touchpad. Duplicated on a Lenovo and Toshiba laptop, both fresh installs of eOS Luna 64 bit. Fully updated.

It just did it to me while scrolling with a mouse wheel. It may also be influenced by the fact that my mouse wheel sometimes skips one move and then hits the next one twice. Maybe just because it scrolls too fast or something?
