Bug Description

when a lens' meta contains "search_on_blank = True", this triggers line 159 of singlet/lens/base.py which tries to register the signal "active" for a scope.

Such signal does not exist with Unity 5 as per: http://developer.ubuntu.com/api/ubuntu-12.04/python/Unity-5.0.html#Unity.Scope
