Some texts are not translated

I've translated collective.dancing.po to Spanish. Some sentences are translated and some others are not. For instance, this is the channel configuration panel:

Administración del canal
Volver a Administración de Singing & Dancing

---> Add or edit channels that will use collectors to gather and email specific sets of information from your site, to subscribed email addresses, at scheduled times.

Editar
Seleccionar ---> Title * Subscribers Collector (what) Scheduler (when)

The sentences marked with ---> are not Spanish! :-)

David, as far as "Title * Subscribers Collector (what) Scheduler (when)" line is concerned, in r62842, I've marked these terms as translatable.

Jakob, I've seen that you've also translated this sentence: "Add or edit channels that will use collectors to gather and email specific sets of information from your site, to subscribed email addresses, at scheduled times." Does it work for you?

I don't recall having translated that sentence .. so it was probably
anton .. but I just checked and the translation is not used .. I am
currently investigating the issue

Apparently triplequoted strings don't get translated. I changed a triplequoted string into singlequoted and that made the translation work

converted a triåple quoted string in browser/channel.py into single quoted .. that helped

Hi,

D&S dev helped me to add a french translation lately (request and files available at https://bugs.launchpad.net/singing-dancing/+bug/299975). I noticed that some strings appeared not to be translated, even if my translation files seem to be fully completed.

I placed collective.dancing.mo and collective.dancing.po in [...]/eggs/collective.dancing-0.7.7-py2.4.egg/collective/dancing/locales/fr/LC_MESSAGES.

I placed collective.singing.mo and collective.singing.po in [...]eggs/collective.singing-0.6.5-py2.4.egg/collective/singing/locales/fr/LC_MESSAGES.

I used gtranslator on an Ubuntu 8.10 (meaning UTF-8) to built the translation files from the *.pot file.

Maybe there something I have done wrong ?
