Bug Description
Tested on Simple Scan 3.20.0
When saving scanned documents as png with a name "Scanned Document.png" they are saved as
"Scanned Document-1.png"
"Scanned Document-2.png"
"Scanned Document-3.png"
...
When later you save another scanned documents under the same name in a directory that already has files with names above, Simple Scan will not save them like
"Scanned Document-4.png"
"Scanned Document-5.png"
or prompt about overwriting existing files. It will silently overwrite saved documents
"Scanned Document-1.png"
"Scanned Document-2.png"
instead.

AFAIK, this is not just about PNG images. It happens with all other output formats as well. See https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/simple- scan/+bug/ 842076 which I reported back in 2011(!!!).
