Cannot use ADF with Brother DCP-9022CDW

I am scanning over the network using a Brother DCP-9022CDW.
Flatbed Scanning works all right.
Scanning Single Page from ADF works all right.
When I put two pages in the ADF and select "Single Page" it eats all the pages from the ADF and then displays the first in Simple Scan.
When I put two pages in the ADF and select "All Pages from Feeder" I get "Failed to scan / Error communicating with scanner".

When I use Skanlite I get full ADF functionality. However the lack of support of DIN-A4 scanning in Skanlite makes it unacceptable.

Attached are the logs from the two Simple Scan runs.
I will gladly provide additional info and will assist in experiments ;)
