saving as PDF progressbar doesn't match real progress

Bug Description
When saving.
If you choose the filename.pdf, then hit save button.
Nothing is visible for the process of saving.
The progress bar is popping only after most of the work is done.
Could take a few seconds (5 to many more). Can be seen by watching CPU activity.
