Segfault when scanning with dev1 but not dev0

Bug Description
Scanner: Brother MFC-J6720DW.
Connection: ethernet.
For some reasons, this scanner offers 2 scanning devices: brother4:net1;dev0 and brother4:net1;dev1.
Both work fine with scanimage (from SANE). With simple-scan, dev1 segfaults while dev0 is fine.
dmesg returns:
