Bug Description

[Impact]
Scan source is not remembered between uses

[Test Case]
1. Open Simple Scan
2. Select second scan source in preferences
3. Close Simple Scan
4. Open Simple Scan
5. Check scan source in preferences

Expected result:
The second scan source is selected

Observed result:
The first scan source is selected

[Regression Potential]
Low. Fix has been in newer versions without issue.

Log file is attached. I opened simple scan and set the scanner to "MFC-J5720DW". Next start it will always be "DCP-585CW" again.

Confirmed - there was a logic bug where the previous device setting was being checked before the list of available devices was given. Thanks for the info!

Accepted simple-scan into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/simple-scan/3.12.3-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
