Bug Description

Hello,

I have installed 1.1.4 (build from 24th of August) on my Win 10 machine and it seems that IDE draws itself without the Command List part. I have only the editor + Message windows (aligned side by side) and icons above them.

Is this an intended alteration of GUI or something that I can address in any way?

I've never had SikuliX installed before on this machine. Java 8 updated to the latest patch + Python interpreter used (hovewer I've tried even without it - same result). I have also tried to find anything useful in documentation and FAQs - without results.

Thank you in advance for any advices.
Christopher

Dear RaiMan,

Installation steps are not very clearly in you website you have setup file till version 1.1.3 and now you changed the procedure.
In 1.1.3 you show many messages are thrown that setup was successful but in 1.1.4 nothing is shown , just IDE is getting launched.

In Sikuli IDE the left panel with the command list is missing , it will be great if you can fix the same ,

Is there any place I can find the command list details which I can use

As stated on sikulix.com: no setup needed any more, just download and use it.
So what is the problem?

Feel free to stay with 1.1.3, if you need the left panel.
In 1.1.4+ there will be another solution (on the list with low priority).

Everything else can be found in the docs.

@RaiMan,

Thanks for update. I resolved the setup issue its working now already did POC of launching word doc and playing with the formatting using sikuli its working crystal clear.

Did analysis on Robotic Process Automation for our project ,our first choice was blueprism which is commercial grade tool , now we are thing of using sikuli instead of blueprism so was palying today with sikuli POC , I love sikuli after using it. Probably we will end up choosing sikuli instead of blue prism for for automation of repetative task to pull some content from application for which no data model or code exist , its legacy application on win32.

Thanks for you contribution and support for this project.

Thanks,

@Nirmal
thanks for the feedback.

... but be aware: 1.1.4+ will not run anymore on 32-Bit systems, since it depends on OpenJDK 64-Bit Java versions.

Up to version 1.1.3 SikuliX runs on 32-Bit Java versions also.
