I will not add the behaviour in 1.1.3 to the docs.
The caching feature will be revised completely in 1.1.4:

... and has to be doc'ed then

I got inquiries about image cache from other people yestarday, and searched past questions and found out the solution.
There is a way to switch off image caching, but this is not documented.

Is there any other hidden setting or function that is not documented like this?
