[request] Image Library Extension

Sikuli extension feature request - Image Library Tool

Sikuli needs an extension to be able to update images from a user's perspective. This tool/extension will be able to maintain all images that are imported from scripts or using SIKULI_IMAGE_PATH. The extension should allow for visual matching of new images, coordinate updates and basic features for manipulating all images that are stored.

Sounds like something similar to the IDE's Preview feature with some additional options.

The developer of the script has the IDE and external tools to manage images the way he needs it.
So do you mean the user of an existing script, to do something with the existing images on the fly?

So what do you think you need additionally?

what do you mean by that? an image has no "coordinates".

It could be like the IDE's preview feature, but more advanced.

An image librarian tool/browser for all imported images.

The tool could use Settings.MinSimilarity to automatically update an image in the library.

Just inform the user of the image coordinates, only if the image is actually on the screen.

Re: Manipulating all images
Think of it as a file browser that could give additional info, extra options to manipulate images, etc.

Just some input for the community, managing images can be difficult maintenance. Hope some others add their ideas here...
