shutter doesn't save to default directory, but to its parent

Bug Description

I have my default save directory set to /home/austin (my home directory).

The first time I hit print screen (which calls shutter) after a fresh login, I get an error that the file cannot be saved. Shutter attempts to save to /home/Desk_001.png, not /home/austin/Desk_001.png.

If I edit the preferences and again set it to $HOME, it works fine, for the rest of the time shutter is launched.

workaround: edit $HOME/.shutter/settings.xml to use a subdirectory of the desired directory, e.g., /home/austin/Desktop, and it will then use that directory's parent, /home/austin.
