Pressing Enter in the image editor doesn't save image

How to reproduce: Take some screenshot, and load up the internal image editor. Once you are done, press Enter.

What happens: The image editor closes, the image is not saved.

What should happen: The image editor closes and saves the image.

After pressing Enter a dialog should appear asking you if you want to
save the changes or not. See the attached video (you can see the pressed
keys in the small window in the top right corner).

I was trying to cut the image, so i loaded up the editor, used the cut Tool, and pressed Enter to cut it. But it didn't cut, it closed the image. I would have expected that it cuts the portion of the image.

Ah, ok. Cropping is not recognized as a change here. That is definitely a bug, you are right.

Maybe we should additionally mark 'Save' to be the default action when hitting return (currently it is 'Close').

Just to mention it. You can simply press 'Save' explicitly after you've cropped the image to apply the changes. (Until this bug is fxed)

I'm still getting this when using the crop tool in 0.86.4 Rev.906

imho "Crop" should be the default action instead of Close/Save, to be consistent with other image editors where enter while cropping usually just crops the image.

Correct. I marked your original bug as duplicate because of Antonio's comment (see above). It will be implemented the way you have described.
