Bug Description

Shots of webpages that require login do not work.

Is it possible to implement a mode that captures a scrollable child window?
I'm aware that there maybe have to be different implementations for different toolkits.

But it could replace the whole Web Screenshot thingy and be also useful for a lot of other applications.

I'd be inclined to say 'no' to that. That would require embedding a browser inside gscrot - which isn't bad, but would be a bit overkill.

The other reason is that there are also a lot of Firefox addons that take screenshots - I can't list them specifically, but I'll find a good one for us to recommend for this special case.

Isn't if possible to get the the contents of a scrollable child window that is not embedded in shutter/gscrot? Because embedding would be of course overkill.

I see your point. Let me ask Mario...

To be more concrete: automate the scrolling similar to xnee or wmctrl: http://www.sandklef.com/xnee/

* send klick to client window
* take shot
* send down arrow key to client window and see if the shot changes
* end when shot no longer changes
=> assemble large screenshot

Yes, this is an ugly idea :-) But it would be very useful. I never thought I'd say this: windows screenshot applications do it like this :-)

Currently it is not possible to capture the whole content of a scrollable child window. You can, of course, use the "section" option to select a single child window but shutter is not made to automatically scroll down.
I know this feature is implemented in some of the popular windows screenshot apps but i have not worked on this yet.

This would be a very nice feature for future releases. Thanks for your suggestion.
