"open in gimp" not working in v0.94 in Mint 19.3

"Open in Gimp" does not open Gimp.
The other "open in..." options work correctly. I don't see an option to verify what path "open in gimp" is pointing at, not do I find an option to add a new "open in"-option.

Using shutter 0.94-1 from the Linux Mint 19.3 repository.

In other programs (file managers), "open with gimp" works as expected.
