Screenshot distorts after sometime

Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Take a screenshot -> Screenshot is good.
2. Take another screenshot. -> This opens in a new tab.
3. Go to previous tab (which has screenshot from step - 1)
4. See that the image has distorted.
5. Go to the tab of screenshot from step - 2
6. See that the image has distorted in the most recent tab also.
7. Copy & paste the image from shutter. This image is also distorted.
I am attaching the screenshots herewith.

Deleting configuration folder ~/.shutter solved this problem for me, using 0.93.1 on Xubuntu 14.04 (Trusty Tahr)
