capture uses previous image in overlay

just upgraded to Ubuntu 14.10, Shutter .93 Rev.1272
On first screen capture using "Slection", works fine. After the initial capture, whenever I try to take another capture, the previous/first capture is shown in the overlay and that is what I can capture. This will continue until the next reboot.

I have uninstalled it using apt purge and reinstalled it but no success. Worked great in Ubuntu 14.4 and Elementary OS!

Update: This appears to be a system issue, when I use Prnt Scrn, I get the same results... Don't think this is a Shutter issue.

I can confirm that this is a Ubuntu issues, fresh install of ubuntu 14.10 proved it!
