shutter uses lots of cpu when opening Ubuntu dash

Bug Description
This is kinda weird bug. When shutter is not doing anything it will use quite high cpu usage when you're opening dash
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open shutter and leave it doing nothing
2. Run top in terminal and bring the terminal window to foreground
3. Open and close dash in rapid succession. Repeat
4. Watch shutter cpu usage in top shoots up to 30-40% from ~3%
I'm on Ubuntu 13.10 32-bit and my shutter version is 0.90.1~ppa1~saucy1
