Bug Description

OpenSuSE 12.1 using either Shutter 0.88.2 or 0.88.3:

Set a fresh Preferences.xml file with: Selection size of 720 x 480 at 420 x 360 (for example).

Click "Selection" in Shutter.

The above selection flashes in white briefly (instead of staying put) and the selection help message remains. If you then press "Enter" to capture the screenshot, shutter creates an error dialog:

"Error while taking the screenshot. Maybe mouse pointer could not be grabbed or the selected area is invalid."

"Cancel", try again ...

Click "Selection" in Shutter.

If you right click or "shift" to bring up the selection dialog, and type over the same numbers as above, it still won't work ... but if you change the number at all, of any of the 4 entries, the white selection window will appear and will stay, and you're good to go. I just change the number and change it back and it's good for the rest of the session, as long as I use "Redo" rather than "Selection".

There is no output in a terminal window when this happens, and --debug offers only this when the capture request fails:

" Using monitor: 0 - 0 - 1920 - 1200"
