Logrotate doesn't work

Bug Description
ls -l /var/lib/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Sep 9 06:25 /var/lib/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 225559 Sep 9 12:26 /var/lib/
In debian wheezy I set logrotate to rotare sheep.log once a week.
It does it but sheepdog continue to write on the renamed file.
