Bug Description
Hallo,
i would like to inform you that there is an error in the documentation about "Testing the Crash Dump Mechanism"[0]. In Ubuntu 18.04 the default value of kernel.sysrq is 176 but this case is not mentioned in the page.
To help future readers understand it more easily you could maybe write "If a value other than 1 is returned the feature is disabled."
Thank you very much for your effort.
regards,
Adnan

O.K. this is turning into a saga. I can't get the crash dump stuff to work at all. It seems others have had exactly the same issues (https:/
@Adnan: did it work for you?

Agree this is a little unclear. I'll mention that the default value is as specified in /etc/sysctl. d/10-magic- sysrq.conf.
