Bug Description
I'm currently doing the following Ubuntu 16.04 server guide:

When it comes to the "Certificate Authority Setup" in trying to generate the master Certificate Authority (CA) certificate and key. You get the following error after doing "./build-ca":

Please modify this server guide so no one else runs into this issue.

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to file a bug and suggest a fix! I've marked the issue confirmed for the server guide and invalid for easy-rsa and openvpn as it is not really a bug in those packages.
I've also added this to our backlog and marked it as a bitesize bug as it should be fairly easy to fix up.
