Bug Description

In regards to this documentation page:
https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/serverguide/openldap-server.html

It took me a while to realize that slapd doesn't automatically start after installation.

Following the installation section is the post-installation section
wherein the first step indicates to run a command which will not work.
What's more confusing is the fact that there's a note indicating it might not work
because of a referenced bug. This led me to quite a few frustrating minutes of resolution.

I propose a simple addition to the documentation that states you must start the service:

    sudo service slapd start

Thanks!

Those sections have been rewritten in the current trunk version of the server guide at lp:serverguide and I believe they are currently correct. Publication of the changes should happen shortly, but if you want you can checkout that branch with "bzr branch lp:serverguide" and try it from there.
