Clocking Seq24 to an external hardware sequencer

Bug Description

Not a bug, but a feature request.

I'd like to be able to control the tempo of Seq24 from an external hardware sequencer, along with start/stop controls.

I can sync Seq24 to Jack, but it would be great if I could sync it up to an external midi clock.

since clocking jack to an external midi is not simple I would also request that feature!!

Hi, I have spend some time reading the code, but I am not good enough to understand it at all.

But in my opinion, adding the possibility to change the tempo with jack would be great. (In Live Mode and with Jack Transport).

Otherway there is no chance to use seq24 simultaniously with other music software.

I do not think it is mutch work for someone, who allready have done something in seq24. My idea was to check for BPM changes between jack and seq24 when get midi data and set the bpm to another value.

For me, this is the last thing missing to use seq24 in live performance.

Thanks.

Ideally, I'd like to have Seq24 clock to any external sequencer. I'm
mostly hardware based, and use Seq24 just for sequencing my synths.
I'd like to be able to clock from my Electribe, as that drives most of
the set.
