Bug Description

Using latest version in Ubuntu's PPA.

The problems seems to have appeared after upgrading to Ubuntu 11.04.

Opening an empty scribes window, or opening a file in scribes lead to the same behaviour: clicking on the "close" window icon does nothing.

Also, when I hover my mouse over the red circle in order to activate the top menu, the window crashes (disappears).

Update: scribes loaded fine when opening a file. However, it was after making changes to the file that I noticed it wasn't auto-saving when switching to another window. The scribes window then wouldn't close for me, and it crashed when overing over the red circle. Basically, I can't use it since it doesn't save my work.

I can't test this out because I moved to fedora. Can you install the from the bzr branch and test again?

Installation instructions are as follows.

bzr branch lp:scribes
cd scribes
./autogen.sh
make
sudo make install

Make sure you have the dev packages installed.

Also let me know if you get any errors at the shell terminal.
