Bug Description
This seems to be similar to a bug reported in the 956 build.
Scribes crashes frequently. If I ignore the crash and choose not to relaunch scribes things seem to go on as normal.
Choosing to relaunch scribes tends to lock up my system.
I'm on Ubuntu 12.04 and installed via the ppa.

The earlier build should be 496 not 956 - sorry about the typo.
