Images appearing cropped in repub (not showing whole image)

This does NOT concern crop boxes. Rather, how images are appearing in republisher.

Pages appear to have been cut off in scanning at first glance, however
RAW images prove this is not so.
Republisher seems to be arbitrarily cropping the images.
Cropping changes throughout book - beginning looks normal - pages gradually appear more cropped, then images gradually return to normal by the end.

- Opened book in repub. Thought I had somehow scanned it horribly. Rescanned.
-Opened newly rescanned book in repub - book appeared the same as before.
-RESHOT a spread, suddenly all the images refreshed and appeared normally.
-Closed out republisher and re-opened and images appear cropped once more.

Completely unable to republish under these circumstances!
