can password fields be blanked out or hidden?

When typing into a password field, it would be nice if the letters were hidden or blanked out.. otherwise all the screencasts contain all our passwords!

This issue has certainly made me think long and hard about how and what I screencast, not wanting to broadcast data that I wouldn't want to share. Probably the easiest way is just to add a simple pause keyboard shortcut so you can say "now I'll enter my password.." and skip to the next screen.

if you are screen casting with recordmydesktop, a workaround would be to pause (CTLR+ALT+p) the recording until you typed in your password credentials. (resume CTLR+ALT+p)
