Bug Description

Thanks Michael,
Detect that it's very difficult because it depends on UI, but you can disable the checkbox on the status icon.

A great start would be to hide the input when you enter the password in sudo/gksudo/kdesu situations.

I've added a mechanism to detect if sudo or gksudo is running and thus not show keys.
For now, this change is included in the development branch (trunk), but will be included in the next release.

Does this also fix displaying the input from the Ubuntu/Unity lockscreen, after you have unlocked the screen?
