Bug Description
In the current trunk version of Scratch (r1833), having the "Highlight Word Selection" plugin enabled prevents scratch from starting up.

My mistake, was a result of running scratch trunk from the build folder and it referencing plugins installed on the system from a previous version. Marked as invalid.
