Closing main (initial) view, makes it impossible to recover it

When you open a new view, a new pane appears in the right. There, once you are done, you can close that view to recover the fullscreen view of the main (original) pane by removing the new pane with remove current view option to add new views later. However, if you close the original one, you will never be able to open new views. Pressing the button, will do nothing.
