Bug Description
I had written up a document, and I thought I guess I should probably back it up, so I went to open Google Docs.
As I was opening Google Docs, my laptop shut off, instantly.
Oh well, I thought, comforted knowing that elementary's HIG states that application state should be Always Saved.
But when I logged back in and opened Scratch, it was gone.

I can confirm.
Also this bug can be tested this way.
* Open scratch.
* Create new empty file. (but don't save it)
* from an open terminal execute
kill -9 XXXX (where xxxx is scratch pid, you can obtain it calling ps -A)
* Reopen scratch, the new file won't exist.
