scratch doesn't create new notes

Can't create a new note, it just gets loading forever. Autosave is disabled.

This is what I get when I open it from the Terminal:

I navigated to the file and looks like it's created by root.

After a quick sudo chmod 777 /home/alberto/.local/share/scratch-text-editor && sudo chmod 777 /home/alberto/.local/share/scratch-text-editor/unsaved/ everything works fine.
