Bug Description

Right now Scratch saves every keystroke (or seemingly so) when connected to a remote disk, like an FTP or SSH server. However, the network activity massively slows down Scratch, so after a few keystrokes, it becomes slow and unusable.

A simple workaround could be to only save to remote disks after the user stops typing for a second or so, which would have the benefit of being able to leave auto-save on while keeping the interface usable.
